Went to Smugglers Notch to snowboard twice and we love the place.

But don't want to have to drive 7.5 hrs north every time we watnt to go to VT>

We stopped off at S. Royalton once and its a lot closer and seems nice but are there ski area near by?

In fact, between the south border of VT up to Royalton, are there any ski places that would have accommodations with access to the slopes right from the room?

I appreciate any recommendations. Thank you

Where are you coming from--What about Suicide Six in Pomfret, VT. or Okemo, or Stratton?

Whaleback in NH is another. depends on what you are looking for and where you are coming from?

We are coming from Long Island New York. Last time we drove up it was 4 1/2 hours door-to-door to south Royalton. So we figured we would look for skiing near there


What appealed most to us at smugglers notch was being able to ski right outside the room!

Okemo has ski in/ out condos. Look into Winterplace.
