still not sure about Bridport as I hear it spoken both ways.
Someone who is a faster typer than moi should start a list. Heck with promouncing the towns right and wearing long pants out in the woods people might think your a Vermonter.
Since I deal with tourists everyday I's amazing at the time and expense our visitors will take to look like a Vermonter. I'm not talking the preppy LL Bean/EMS look. We now have ag related baseball type caps that are pre-worn.
For example, the front of the brim has a worn spot right where your fingers grab it. When I first got them I put them aside as I assumed that they were damaged. Not so, they go along with our pre-worn sweatshirts.
I enjoy working with Vermont's visitors I want to help them in anyway possible. Many come from crowded urban/suburban places and come to Vermont for many of the same reasons many of us live here. I don't mind the occasional hassle and treat them with respect as when I travel that's the way I want to be treated.
