Oops!

I forgot....

Notown and
Satans Kingdom

Mosquitoville is in Groton, east of Montpelier, just below Harvey's Lake, between Route 3 and I-91/Connecticut River.

Satans Kingdom is at the south end of Lake Dunmore, right off Route 7 between Salisbury and Goshen.

Just some FYIs....
Route 7 is not anywhere near Montpelier.
Mosquitoville is not on 302, nor is it in Groton. It sits on the Barnet/Ryegate line, just south of Harvey's Lake.
We sure do have some funky names here. Check out "Vermont Place Names" by Esther Monroe Swift. GREAT book.

OK I was asking if it was on 302 but thanks for the info I do know where rygate is. And what is the rt that runs from Montpelier down to about the rutland area with the waterfalls and all that stuff. It goes through middlebury I beleive.

Thanks vter for that info. You can see Mosquitoville on Google if you enter the name and do a map search. It's not easy to tell exactly, but there is a Mosquitoville Road and usually roads with names like that lead to or through the place named.

Yes, Route 7 does not go through Montpelier. I pointed out Satans Kingdom's location because I thought there'd be questions about its location given the unusually striking name and because all of Vermont has traveled Route 7 at some point and not realized how close they were to it.
