Sheldon is a typical small Vermont town. Just about 2000 in population. People in that part of Vermont and Franklin County in general are very friendly. St. Albans is the "hub" so to speak, for shopping and such.
Burlington is about a hour away.
Overall not a bad place...
Sheldon is very small (people wise) and spread out. Because of that the time to St. Albans and Burlington can be different. For example, we built a house close to the St. Albans side. It took us 6 minutes to get to St. Albans shopping and 31 minutes to Burlington. As far as friendliness......it is about the same as anywhere else around there.
Thank you folks, I plan on visiting there someday soon. My family originally came from there to Minnesota in the late 1800's. EW
