My neighbor has reported on a horse standing outside without any shelter for the past few months. Through area damaging microburst hail, endless rain and 90 degree heat the horse stands in someones front yard with no shelter.
VT statutes require a 3 sided shelter.
The case was reported weeks ago on a Thursday and no one even checked on the animals condition for a number of days.
Reported again today, nothing will happen because it's the weekend and probably not till after the 4th at best.
Excellent system and people on the job protecting the welfare of animals here in VT........
