That's true. I love the foliage in Vermont during the fall. The backdrop of a New England village is a sight to see, but as beautiful as fall is in Vermont, there are many other areas in the US with brilliant falls. Top 10 fall foliage destinations - Seasonal- msnbc.com

I'd say this is the second or third best foliage in the last ten years. I'd say last year's was best, but this is pretty close. Now we have back to back great foliages after several years of average and not so good.

Default Fall Foilage

I grew up in NY,and now live in NH. I always thought that NY was very nice in the fall, and it truly is. I believe that it truly pales in comparison to a GOOD New England fall foilage. The brilliant colors/backdrops that so many areas provide. Don't mean to sound too one sided, but I love everything about New England.
