There could be another snowstorm or two, but with the very mild temps we have had for the last month (I should say all winter) it will not last very long. I am glad it's just about over we are getting ready to plant our cool weather vegtables. Noticed the garlic and a few onion sets we didn't pull last fall are up about six inches.
I am amazed at how much trash builds up over the winter. The cans and soda or coffee cups are bad enough, but I swear there are hundreds if not thousands of cigarette buts on the side of the road. We can't wait to see what else is uncovered when the piles of snow on the edge of the road melt.

You know, I don't mind the collapsed remains of early houses, fences, etc., in the woods. I find the cigarettes, bags, fast food containers, etc., along the roads a lot worse...it's always worst in the spring when things melt.
