Kees, how long does the battery last on your controller? Mine seems to only last for a few hours but I haven't timed it out yet. I've read that most people only get 8 hours at the most.
It's the controller light that runs it down (which enables it to act like PS3's seperate "move" controller). It definetly runs down quicker then the PS3 controller. 6 to 8 hours of play sounds about right.
You can turn of the built in mic, maybe that is draining your power.

I figured it was that light that was killing it.

The controller is the first thing I noticed too. While with the ps3 controller I can continue playing an hour or so after seeing the battery low sign. With the ps4 controller, if I don't get it plugged in withing a few minutes of seeing the battery low sign, it dies.

Just added Tomb Raider to my PS4 collection.

I've never played any of the games in the series on any platform... but it's got pretty good reviews on Amazon and was $35 new.... so why not?

So how was it?

It was fun, the only real compliant I had with it was that it was too short. I got all the collectibles and it still only took me about 15 hours to complete. I traded it into Amazon because there is not much replay value.

Thanks for the tip. I fooled around with Mario 3D yesterday but plan on seeing what Lara is all about in the next day or two.

One more month till MLB 14...

I never played Tomb Raider before on the PS3, and I really enjoyed it on the PS4.

I liked Resogun and Strider as well. Resogun is free on PS+ and there's a demo for Strider so you can check out if you like it or not.

Not sure if you played AC4 on another system but I also like it quite a bit.

I'm top 75 in the world on Resogun for points. I was in the top 50 about 2 months ago, but some people have surpassed me. I went tit for tat with my buddy. He got up to $83 million and I surpassed his score getting up to $203 million. I ended up going the first 4 levels on normal without dying and saving all humans. I was fortunate enough to link my streaks through all the levels. That day I was on point playing for sure. There's quite a bit of strategy to the game.

The PS4 is a fantastic console representing tremendous value. Easy to understand why it leads the pack. You made a wise purchase there, Kees.

Also a good idea to get yourself a Wii U so we can go head-to-head when Mario Kart 8 ships next month.

Some say Walmart has the best value. Others say you're just being cheap.

Get the premium elite system. Get an Xbox One.
