My husband and I are moving from Savannah, GA to the Staunton area because he got a job in Bridgewater. We were told that Staunton was a nice area, and we are past the college town experience so no Harrisonburg. But right now he's literally living out of a hotel up there until he finds a place, and I move our stuff up by the end of August.

We need help. We are looking for at least a 2 bed 1 bath, with at least 800 sq ft. needs to allow a 3 pound caged rabbit as a pet. Must have at least a washer/dryer hookup and a dishwasher. Can't pay more then $750 a month.

We tried to do web searching before he got up there, but nothing is posted online, or if it is, it is rented within days by a college kid. Basically what I'm asking is if anyone knows of a place that we could rent anywhere between verona, staunton, fisherville, or waynesboro?

Hi, and welcome to Staunton. I live here, but don't know of any places off the top of my head. But there should be a few out there. I'd suggest looking in the local papers classified sections.

Try looking for places along the Rt42 corridor, if you're willing to live out in the woods a little, meaning not in a larger town.

Churchville, Mt. Solon, etc are all easy commutes to H-Burg and are nice areas.
