Hello,
I am potentially going to move to the Virginia Beach area... Please tell me the does and don't. I will be looking for a place to live and a job as a certified nursing assistant. Do you know of any agencies hiring CNA's? I plan on visiting Virginia Beach, VA the first week in September 2012. Please forward any information to soldouttojesus@aol.com

Thanks in advance,
Lavearne

Smile looking for an area with top rated schools

I'm a single mother of a very active six year old girl. We are going to be moving to the area in mid june after school lets out. She likes gymnastics and softball. I will be working in Chesapeake and would like to rent a house or apt for under 900. I don't want to drive more then half an hour to work though. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated

This entire thread should have been moved a long time ago to the Hampton Roads sub-forum

Default Id say best place in Va beach is Shore dr. area

Ive lived in Va beach my whole life. I use to live on Shore dr. area which has many difference types of living. Chics Beach is at the end of Pleasure House Rd and dead ends into the water pretty much. You can find quint little houses for reasonable money. Minutes to the water, Norfolk, Navy bases, Shopping, night life but definitely far from the hectic living of the actual beach area since this is part of the Chesapeake Bay. The beaches are way more private and walk to restaurants. All of Shore Dr is nice, but stay away from Getting close to Norfolk which isn't as safe. by "Stephanie" Premier Plantation Shutter & 2" Blind 757-966-0993 Virginia Beach / Chesapeake / Suffolk/ Norfolk Va

It would be helpful to know where in Chesapeake you will be working. Geographically, Chesapeake is huge and it could take you 30 minutes or more to drive across it. So knowing where within Chesapeake your job is will help folks recommend a place within 30 minutes of that location.

You might want to start a new thread in the Hampton Roads subforum. Chesapeake is in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, so people with local knowledge are more likely to see your request if you post it there. Good luck!

I'm moving in a month to attend NSU with my 9 year old son and need some advice. I would like a job in the legal field because I will eventually attend the law school in norfolk. I'm looking for somewhere that has good schools and isn't in a bad part of town. Looking to pay around 700 for rent. Anyone have any suggestions as far as towns to look in? I'm not opposed to living in North Carolina either.

I certainly could be wrong, but I do not believe there are any law schools in Norfolk, VA.

It would be much better to start your own thread in the Hampton Roads sub-forum. Please ask your own specific question about Virginia Beach there and give it a catchy title.
