I don't know if anyone can give me specific first-hand info about actually living in/near the following apt. complexes, but I would really appreciate your help/knowledge: Barton House in Arlington (22201) and Cherry Hill (22007). Thanks. (single early twenties professional females)

and look at the high rise communities - they take care of their property - I do not work for them nor am I in real estate - I am in the middle of relocating and now to Richmond, VA and am very selective of where I rent so I tend to do a lot of research .... I was hoping a job in the D.C area would come through but it did not - so I prepared by looking at places etc and this was the overall best management I found. Also, here is a site that will give you reviews of apts. just keep in mind sometimes people just want revenge and also, at times the management writes fake reviews ... just read them and you will know the difference. I look for saftey issues and cleanliness - I never really care if they like management or not - that I think, is subjective. Here is the link - and good luck

I lived in 22206 for a few years. You won't know you're in arlington or that close to DC. Try there. The Park at Arlington Ridge is probably the best deal, garden style, quiet area. Also the Metropolitan of Arlington, now under a new name and condos I think. It's at the very end of Army Navy drive, near the Park.
