Hello:
My husband is relocating to Fort Lee and I would like to know were is a good aera to live in and good school districts? I have 5 children 2 seniors and a 9th grader 10th grader adn a 2nd grader I would love some suggestions as we havedealt with some horrible schools and we are trying to avoid it yet again. Thank you and I look forward to any advice...

It is my understanding that Chesterfield County has good schools.

Based on what I have read about Petersburg in general, I would avoid it.

Hopefully, others on this board who live in the area will post.

Wow! That was a quick change of orders!! Natasha, how long will you be at Belvoir? And are you looking to rent or buy? Another question is how long (in minutes) of a commute are you or your spouse willing to handle?

I used to live in Fredericksburg and my husband commuted to the Pentagon, so I may be able to give some general guidelines. Twinma might chime in too as she just relocated from NoVA.
