I think you'll get more answers if you post in the West Virginia forum. You accidently put this in the Virginia forum.

I will answer. I have driven the WVA Turnpike many times and it is a bit tricky. Just go the speed limit and pay attention and you will do fine.

It is very safe so long as you are not from Ohio and slam on you brakes for every curve, and floor it for every straight away. I have driven the
WV Turnpike since 1973 when it used to be a two lane death highway. It is now interstate and very safe so long as you do not drive like a moron.

The WV turnpike has been improved. I would rather drive on that road than
Virginias' I-81!
