We are a family of 6 looking for a house around $200000 with at least 2000 square feet 3 bedroom/ 2 bath, in a family friendly "bike riding" neighborhood, near to town for grocery shopping, dance studio, etc. We also will be building a business, so we are looking to be near an upper middle class town that could handle a martial arts studio. (Maybe a smaller town without one or a larger town with very few) can anyone help?

I would check out areas such as SW county in Roanoke. You would probably like the Cave spring area or maybe grandin village. Maybe you would like to open up a business around tanglewood mall or route 419. You could possibly look downtown for a place to open the business, but you won't find any place that size (I don't think) to live in as they are all apartments and NY style lofts. I think you could do well in SW county/SW city. The better schools are in SW and some of the higher end living is there too. You should post on the Roanoke area forum to get more responses. .Good luck!
