In Virginia the Giant Grocery stores that are the furthest south would be Fredericksburg or Charlottesville.

My husband and I with our two children, a 7year old son and I have a 3months old daughter currently live in maple grove minnesota, love there nice and safe place to live with kids, But we've had enough of the weather , it's way too cold out here, my son hAs asthma and the weather just doesn't help. We looking to move to virgnia by April or may, I've Been looking at Townhomes but I would like to know where in Va is safe to live, affordable and has great school? We were looking at west end Richmond, stafford Va, fredricksburg Va or Woodbridge Va. If anyone know of anything nice Townhomes any one of the listed cities of any where else in Va please help me out. It's kind of hard for us cause we don't know much about Va but we love the weather and we've only visited Va once. It closer to my husband family cause they live in Boston ma.

You have posted a rather wide swath of areas all of which have nice areas. Where will you be working so we can provide better feedback. Also Virginia can run very humid especially in Va Beach which can cause a person with asthma a lot of problems.
