I'm sorry to hear about such a tough spot that the OP is in. There are certainly many ways to look at the matter but in a word "yes". Yes it would be a sin if you did nothing to persuade your wife differently. Murder is murder.

We all sin all the time. An abortion is no greater sin than telling a white lie to spare someone's feelings according to the bible. So one could argue that it might be better to terminate the pregnancy and use birth control. Because the child being born to a household that doesn't want it will certainly result in more sins being committed by both parents. At the same time the easiest way to avoid the sin would be to not terminate the pregnancy.

That's the religous standpoint.

From a logic stand point do what you think is best for the family as a whole. No judgement from me either way.

I have 2 kids that are 11 months apart to the day. It is tough but you can do it.
Have you thought about adoption?
