Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a clay Chiminea in Montgomery County MD? Somewhere that has a variety of sizes and style is preferable.

Thanks!

Wikipedia says is best, "A chimenea (also spelled chiminea) is a freestanding front-loading fireplace or oven with a bulbous body and usually a vertical smoke vent or chimney."

They are a great way to safely make s'mores in the backyard.

According to their websites all these stores only have metal chimneas (Which sound super dangerous to me). I'll take a look next time I'm at these stores, maybe they stock them but don't sell them online. Clay is really the ideal material for this kind of application. It won't be as hot to the touch and it retains the heat better after the fire dies out. The metal ones are very easy to find on the interwebs. I suspect that the clay versions are prohibitively heavy to ship. Some friends recommended, "The pottery places on Route 50 coming back from the beach". I'll keep an eye out next time I go to the beach. In the meantime, I'm still looking for a vendor in-county (MoCo).
