Hello All,

currently we are living in Germantoen MD and now planning to buy a house. However schools in Germantown are below average, so now we are looking for alternate place. Can anyone please share some information on below-

Which are we should look for with average or above average school areas with the budget of 550K..??
We are looking area with at least decent south asian population..??

Any information would be great help...!!!

Look in the 20874 zip code of Germantown, specifically for the school clusters fed by Ronald McNair Elementary or Spark M Matsunaga Elementary. Both of these elementary schools are highly rated and the middle school they feed is also highly rated. Northwest highschool is also good. A few examples below for both:

You will notice the housing is more expensive compared to other parts of Germantown. Also look at Clarksburg, huge South Asian community and good schools. Good luck!
