attendance at Redskins games is in the 25,000 - 40,000 range. Their problems have nothing to do the stadium. Pro football is losing it's appeal. Would be foolish to build another one.

Your quote in multiple threads including the Pittsburgh thread, the NOVA thread, DC etc was that Boston or Atlanta would get Amazon HQ2 and that the DMV area had no chance, and you were emphatic. That did not happen, which is my point.

One has to be built regardless at some point, It's more about the development of that area into something useful than the actual team locating there. Although for the state either way it would be an L to see the team go to DC or VA.

Heard on the radio today that Hogan is in the talks about doing a land transfer deal for the redskin stadium. Exchanging a civil war territory in the north western part of the state for the Oxon Cove area to get the stadium built. It was the Kojo Nandi show.

As they say on the show Dan Snyder wants it in DC and or VA as I stated . Hogan can say what he wants but Mike Miller does not want it,think about that.

Perhaps an abandoned FedEx Field could have value for the County and the University Maryland College Park if: (1) stadium capacity and size is reduced; (2) the proposed County hospital, to be managed by University of Maryland Baltimore, is built on site; and (3) a medical research park, owned and operated by University of Maryland Baltimore, is built on adjacent land where Landover Mall once stood.

Maryland's Home Stadium is a nicer facility then FedEX .The Lerners just put that parcel back on the Market , while I like the idea about the Medical research facility ......It will be hard to do ,the owners want their money for that land .

Most online news of any value in the United States require subscriptions. Further, if you're a government employee, you get WaPo for free. Even if you're not, it's not expensive.
