Currently, I live in Germantown, Maryland. I am considering buying a Townhouse located on Heritage Farm Drive in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Can anyone tell me is Heritage Farm Drive a safe neighborhood?

I have been checking the crime reports from the police department. I have also been driven around the neighborhood at different times of the days and it appears to be safe however; I wanted to double this is indeed the case.
Thank you.

Is this area of E Village Ave in East Montgomery Village? If so then you should be fine. I have a few co-workers who reside here and have told me good things about this area.

The only downsides is that the high school (Gaithersburg) is not the best and it is a little far out from 270.

Default Is Heritage Farm Drive in Gaithersburg, Maryland Safe neighbood live in?

Yes, Heritage Farm Drive is located in area of E Village Ave in East Montgomery Village.

I am very relieved to hear good reports from your co-workers. Up to this point all I have been told about Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg was not good places to live because of high crime and the properties in these areas would lose their values. Honestly, during my house hunting I could see this myself with exception of this specific area.

Thank you for providing me your imput.

Hi, I know it's been a while since you posted this but I know Heritage Farm well...my two kids attended a home daycare there for over 4 years before we moved to PA. It is a quiet neighborhood with a nice mix of families, young couples, etc. The HOA there is extremely tough so it looks really nice, but I do agree with the former posting about the schools. The high school (GBurg) is terrible and I would not send my kids there. My daycare lady's kids both went there but graduated a long time ago, when it wasn't as bad. Hope this helps!

Only other thing I would tell you to do is to talk to people who live there, shop owners ,grocery stores ...things like that.
