We are considering a house in Observatory Heights in Gaithersburg. We have done a lot of research but are looking for personal opinions. any and all info appreciated.

As an aside if you could tell me what your basis of comparison is I would appreciate it. I gre up in PG County. laurel, bowie, college park areas.

That area is nestled between a busy street, MD 124 and the railroad tracks. Mix of pre & post war houses are set here. It seems like a nice block, but I never spend time, only passing through to go somewhere. Has been this way for 25 years. There is a patch of houses that were declared historic by the city. A few years ago, I snapped some of the historic houses. The only thing I'd be concerned about is the amount of traffic it gets during the day.

I drive past that area all vof the time, but don't know much about it. Looks okay to me.
