If price and commute were no option, where would you live in the greater DC area..?

Right where I am, in Annapolis. May not be considered greater DC but I wouldn't live anywhere else in Maryland. Not that other places aren't nice, just this is the place for me.

I like Upper Marlboro but maybe Bowie. If I did not have a child I would live in a 2 bedroom condo in George Town DC or China Town in DC or U street or K street.

Price and commute, did you mean not an issue? How greater DC?
I like the hillbilly side of the Potomac, not VA, but WV, just across the line.

Potomac.

I seriously thought about buying a home there when I was house-hunting in this Spring. But...my office is in Baltimore, so I chose Clarksville. Still, I don't like my commute. I might move to Towson eventually.

Yes, sorry, bit of mommy brain...

How much greater DC? Well, pretend there's no traffic and you can get anywhere based on milage, not traffic.. so if it's 40 miles, it would take 40 minutes.

Bethesda definitely. Isn't that where everyone wants to live? Thing is in reality price and commute are probably the 2 most important things in deciding where to live in this area.
