Exactly my point. There is already a well-adjusted acronym and a different meaning will not push it out. Now if those hip-hop heads came up with something that didn't copy, then I'd consider using it.

Yeah,DMV for DC/Maryland/Virginia is a stupid acronym and not original at all.

Does anyone else have a thing for those long, long, multi-lane roads that cut through deep suburbia? I'm thinking US-301, MD-214, US-50 off of I-66, etc. They aren't particularly exciting drives and they suck when there's heavy traffic, but there's something calming about driving on them when it's not crowded. Especially when the light outside is just right, or if it's raining.

Or am I just weird?

Nope, I enjoy driving literally everywhere in the DC area, except for run-down ghettos. But who cares about driving there?

I like driving across the Bay Bridge. That's always cool.

Ah glad to see I'm not alone, BCD :P

Bajan I agree, that's one of my favorite parts about driving to the Delaware beaches. That and MD-404. Again, a boring straight highway but the scenery is pretty lovely, and it's the only road I've been on that requires you to have your headlights on at all times (no idea why).
