I do not need to be inside the beltway. People recognize. They know. Trust me. They know.

When people say, "I'm going far far far away" that usually means they're going to kill themselves.

I have gone far far far far far away before and have come back.
The ladies in one of those far far far far far away places were very accommodating to me as well.
They were accommodating to the point where I almost had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming.
They were not hookers either.
Some ladies just love DC natives I guess.
I do not know.
Sometimes some things in life are best left unexplained.

Seattle people are more reserved and polite where as the Type A, rude, uber-ambitious jerkwads are the majority here.
Why do people keep saying this?

Actually there are two kinds of 'Seattle' people as well.

There is the grunge, alternative, counterculture types.

AND...there are the typical yuppie person...the same kind of person that people seem to describe DC people as.

From the description of 'white' people in the DC area...you basically have both of the same types in Seattle. (Hipsters and Yuppies). I don't think it would be much different there.

The only difference I could really see would be minus a large black culture of DC...music would be more alternative/indie/etc. as the dominant form as well.

Or as they are known to the blue-collar, Anacostia urbans..."bamas".

I actually agree about the Type A, rude, and uber-ambitious, jerkwads, but 46% of the time, the jerkwads are from California. Type A sorta goes with rude, uber-ambitious and ring of "Go F-yourself" around you, which isn't a bad thing.

I could tell you once you get inside the ring of GFY, it's wonderful.

So, apparently Seattle is the place that most people would go after leaving DC.

I'm strangely attracted to Seattle now.
