Im driving to baltimore to meet up with a friend Sep.1st, then taking the metro down to go to the skins vs. bucs game (were both from tampa.) Is there a train that goes from the hotels mentioned below to the stadium?
I am a marriott employee so im going to be staying at either the Residence Inn on vermont ave or the Renaissance on 9th, any input as to which I should choose?? We just want to be able to walk around to bars/restaurants (or short cab ride) and be in the action.
Also, are there any parking garages that are secured around the area?..the hotels charge 25 and 40$ a night.

Feel free to add any input as to parking, bars, entertainment of any sort you think two college kids will enjoy.

Thanks

*And I hope everyone is safe after that quake

*Found the train, blue rail Metro to morgan.

You would probably be better off staying at the Residence Inn. It is only two blocks away from the McPherson Square Metro and that is on the blue line, which is what you will need to take to get to the game. To get to the stadium you would need to get off at Morgan Blvd. It is a little bit of a walk from the metro to the stadium but you at least will avoid the traffic driving in.

I must also warn you because I seen happen quite a bit while living next to the stadium, after the game DO NOT GO EXPLORING THE AREA!!! I can't emphasize this enough. The area not too far away from the stadium is not a good one and I used to see people walking in those areas not knowing where to get back to the metro. Please keep track of where you are at in the stadium and how to get back to the metro.

As far as parking, you are more than likely not going to find a parking garage cheaper than that. Your only other option, as far as I know that is cheaper, is to park on the street or park at an outdoor public parking lot.

Someone may be able to give you a little bit more info on the rest. That's all I can tell you.

Parking is about 25 to $40, in that range, probably more expensive the closer you get to the stadium. The trip to the metro or to the stadium in this case...its about a 15 minute walk. It's about a mile.

I'd take Metro, its going to be crowded, sure, but its going to take awhile to leave if you have a car.

Woot! Woot! I'm a Bucs fan (don't ask, I was born in NFL no-man's-land) and will also be at the game in a Bright Red very un-maroon Bucs shirt! Take the metro, driving sucks.
