What would be the best DC-area (including suburbs) school (or school system) for lgbt children, or children of lgbt parents?

Give me a break so now schools are to be rated on how friendly they are in regards to "lgbt families"? The PC nonsense never ends.

What are you expecting a red carpet to be laid at your feet for being a gay parent? Check the test scores etc. and move on.

I don't see where s/he's looking for a rating system........she's probably just looking for suggestions on a school that has as few of YOU as possible.

And no...I am not PC so dont even bother going there.

I'm thinking Montgomery in MD along with Arlington and Fairfax counties in VA are going to be your best bets overall.

I've met a few gay parents in Reston. Montgomery county is going to be a touch more liberal than the Virginia suburbs but either side of the Potomac will give you and the little ones a high quality of life. I don't think there's one suburb that will be better than the other. Just find a nice a place in a nice neighborhood and the rest will fall into place.
