Two Stabbed in Columbia Heights, Two Shot in Truxton Circle Last Night | PoPville

Crime has been spiking lately.... just from the news, alerts, and what people been talking about on the street. Just left from DC and even at 6am you got dudes posted up in front of buildings on guard about something. Retaliation and this is gonna be a long, bloody summer. Stay safe out there, no matter what city and state you are in, but especially urban areas. A 3 year old in SE gout hit by a stray the other day.

That's why other cultures don't like
to associate with us. Look at how we
treat our own people.

...This is why we need full-blown law enforcement raids in the crime-ridden neighborhoods of DC

Group of people were shot at on the 1400 block of R street as well. I mentioned that block in another thread a few months ago, but everything got pulled because of someone trolling. Lots of problems coming from a two apartment buildings there.

Truxton has been a mess all summer. We had a few shootings this week in Shaw, but I think it was pretty quiet the last 48 hours.

Some cities have really low crime rates and people never worry about this kind of thing. Just sayin.
