Amtrak is surprisingly expensive. Unfortunately the commuter train (MARC) doesn't run on weekends. Try Greyhound or Megabus.

The MegaBus WAS - BAL trip will not stop in Baltimore City. Instead it takes you all the way up to White Marsh. From there you can take the 35 bus down which is an additional 1 1/2hrs making your total trip nearly 3hours.

Greyhound WAS - BAL will take you into South Baltimore (fare is $11 one-way right now). From there you can take the 27bus or cab it or, if you're really adventurous you can walk it. The Greyhound station is in a sketchy area though, so I wouldn't recommend walking. Total trip will be about 1.5hrs.

Amtrak WAS - BAL will take you into Penn Station (fare is $16 one-way right now). From there you can take the light rail down. Total trip will be about 1hour.

Personally, I'm not a fan of buses, so I'd take the Amtrak route. It's just a nicer ride and you can leave out the traffic variable.

still think the green line to Greenbelt station then transferring to B30 and then catching the light rail from BWI to Camden Yards id the best route. This option is available 7 days a week and when the light rail isn't operating the #17 bus provides service from/to downtown Baltimore and BWI.

16 each way from DC to baltimore is expensive? Gold Gup tickets are 50 to 100.

When I looked at the Amtrak site, the only $16 tickets were at about 6:20 a.m. I see there is now one at 8:10, but for any later departure times tickets range from $24-$42, one way. There are a few return times at $16, but don't know if those would work for the OP.

The DC chapter of the American Outlaws is running a bus to the game from somewhere in DC. It should be on their website. That's probably the best option.

Otherwise, I think people have mentioned all of the options:
--Greyhound
--Amtrak
--NOT Megabus
--expensive taxi
--Metro Green line to Greenbelt to B30 bus to BWI to Light rail
--Some of the other bus companies might stop, too, but I'm not too sure.
