It vanished!
Did anyone else notice this?

It's been there for more than 20 years, and as I was passing by on 19th street this weekend, I noticed a "For Lease" sign hanging from an empty window.
I was completely shocked by this!

Now I'm wondering who is going to occupy that space. It's in a prime location, but it's main drawback is the lack of visual space. Agree or Disagree?

Yeah, I saw that. Plus if you go to that location's website: The Melting Pot of Washington DC- A Romantic, Fine Dining Fondue Restaurant in the Arlington, Alexandria, Springfield, and Washington DC Area - Welcome you'll see this message:

"We regret to announce The Melting Pot of Washington, D.C. is no longer open for business as of Nov. 11 as its 10-year term serving the community has concluded. There are no plans to re-open the restaurant at this time. However, the three other Washington, D.C. area Melting Pot locations remain open."

I'm not surprised. Rent in that area is probably sky high, plus there are a number of Melting Pots in suburban Maryland (Annapolis, Gaithersburg, Columbia, Towson) and Virginia (Arlington, Reston) that are a lot easier to get to.
