Interesting to see just how far out it stretches in relation to the district and the beltway, and the large expanses, especially to the west, that aren't served. Not sure I have seen one before, so thought I'd share.

the metro map was designed in the 70s but I can understand why they scrunched it all up to save space

I'm curious as to how they will redesign the Metro Map to incorporate the Silver Line that will extend waaaaaaay off to the west when it reaches Dulles.

I thought the King St-Van Dorn-Franconia stretch was long, but Wiehle-Tysons will be even more spaced out. That'll be fun…
