Does anyone know of any relatively inexpensive but GOOD motels or hotels outside of D.C. but within walking distance or hotel shuttle of the Metro Stops...say in Silver Spring MD, Rockville MD, New Carrolton MD, Vienna Virgnia/GMU area, Largo MD, Alexandria Virginia, Arlington VA, Franconia -Springfield Virginia, College Park/green belt area Maryland, Glenmont, MD/Forest Glen/Wheaton MD, area, or Shady Grove MD areas????

If anyone knows of any hotels aroudn $50 -70 a night that are decent that would be awesome! It doesnt have to be a fancy hotel but one where I could get to a metro station. (I am looking for cheaper motels, hotels where I can stay in to go to DC for video work and jobs and such so I can make some profit from the video work and not waste all my money on a hotel room)
But i still want the hotel to be decent.

Thanks for any tips, suggestions.

I live in New Carrollton and the only hotel here is a Four Points Sheraton. I don't know how much it costs a night but I know they have a shuttle to the metro station (which is all of a 10 minute walk).

Like Eastguy said, there's a few motels in upper NW along Georgia Ave, right below Silver Spring. I don't know how lazy you are so I'm not sure what's considering "walking distance" for you. But you could also take the 70, 71, or 79 bus to the Silver Spring metro.

I'm not sure about Virginia. Everything I've seen there is expensive lol
