Overpaying incompetent rank and file employees is a huge problem. It drains Metro's funding and it keeps the system in a state of disrepair and unreliability leading the poor service.

Your lack of ability to grasp the simple math of this problem is proof you have no business discussing this topic.
That's a pathetic argument unsupported by any factual basis. You just don't like it that Metro employees make more than you do.

How is it a pathetic argument? Explain in detail. I bet money you can't lol.

If you actually had an argument you would stay on topic instead of talking about me and whatever emotions you think I feel about metro employees. The topic is metro, not me.

Incompetent people should not have high salaries. In fact, they should have no salary because they have no business working on a job they cannot perform well at.

1. You assert employees are incompetent. You don't prove anything. You don't even give examples of incompetent performance. Metro's reliability problems certainly aren't caused by employees. They are caused by worn out equipment operated well after it should have been retired.

2. You assert employees are overpaid, but include no comparable salary data for comparable jobs.

3. You seem angry, but your anger is clearly misdirected.

That's what makes the argument "pathetic".

Worn out equipment? The DC metro is the NEWEST completed subway system in the country. So how do you explain ancient subway systems like NYC being more reliable with OLDER railcars running longer without breakdowns than metro's newest railcars?

Metro employees simply don't know how to do proper maintenance. This is proof of their incompetence.

They make the same as COMPETENT employees working at other subway systems (as well as metro itself). This means they make too much. All incompetent people.. no matter what the job are overpaid. The salary of an incompetent person should be ZERO.

I don't "seem angry". You perceive me as angry. That has nothing to do with me. I think you are the angry one.
