Hi all. I will be traveling to the DC area, Siliver Springs to be exact for work in late March. My flight lands at 12:30 AM on a Monday morning and I was hoping to get to Silver Springs that night to be able to stay at my hotel in walking distance to the work site.
Unfortunately it seems that 12 am to 6 am is a black hole in terms of super shuttle service. Will Uber or Taxi be available at that time? If so, approximately how much will it cost? Any other ideas for ground transport... I have to be at a conference by 7:30 AM that same morning. I will not be renting a car since my site will be within walking distance. Thank you.

If you do a google search for cab ride estimators that should give you a good idea on how much a taxi will cost from BWI to Silver Spring. I believe an Uber ride would be about $45 but I could be wrong.
Use this site: https://www.uber.com/fare-estimate/. It says $36-48 and that seems right. Surge pricing is highly unlikely on a Monday in late march (should be no snow).
It has an estimate of $50 for BWI to Alexandria and that's what my friend paid.
Check out Amtrak, I do not think there are trains that late especially if you need to be up but it might save you money. Otherwise uber is the only option
Ok thanks for the advice. So you think Uber is a viable option even that late? I have never been to baltimore to be honest and only know that it is dangerous and John's Hopkins is there.

BWI is not in downtown Baltimore. There will be both Ubers near, as well as taxis lined up.
