Where to Buy Touristy DC T-Shirts..... (Washington: for sale, theater, mall)

Where can you guy touristy DC T-shirts that says "I love DC," etc around DC?

Pretty sure I have seen vendors selling those in and around Chinatown. Also saw them once near National Mall area, if I recall correctly.

I haven't seen any that said "I love DC" yet, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Most just seem to have 'Washington" on the front or back even (depends on the shirt, I guess). Street vendors often have them or you can also check the store up at Union Station.


You can visit the Hard Rock café and the store aside from there has the shirts with Washington, DC on them but they'll (of course) be a little more expensive.


There's even separate vendors all around inside Union Station that also sells t-shirts like what you are looking for. I'm trying to remember the name of the store but it's located upstairs (political oriented stuff for sale). Some of their rack item t-shirts (if they still have them) had some good discounts. One day I found a t-shirt there for $7.00

Also, there is a store/kiosk at the Pentagon City mall that sells DC touristy stuff

There is a touristy junk store in Old Town Alex. that has a ton of DC stuff. (Right on King Street a block or two up from the waterfront)

Near the MLK Library, there's a tourist/souvenir store on a corner that I pass by once in a while. I'll try to find it again.

I don't think it's Souvenir City, 1001 K Street NW, but according to Google Street View that place has I (heart) DC shirts in the store windows.

I'd just go to the mobile vendors along the 15th / 17th street sides of Presidents' Park. Or, if you want a bunch, there's a spot near 5th & Neal streets NE that has them for maybe $2 each.
