I'm 28 and have a college degree, but I was laid off close to 10 months ago. The company decided to hire a 17 year old instead of keeping me. I'll take just about any job I can find.
yeah I def need to know this as well!...going on my 8th month of unemployment also in my 20s....*sigh* every interview I've gone too I'm either too experienced or not experienced enough and would love a chance to work again
^^ well if it makes any difference I was an information systems major the first 2 years of college before switching my major to Marketing...and then after graduation worked as a sales manager for AV technology and before that as a content manager for a music website...however I didn't do much programming with those positions and I'm VERY rusty on the subject(meaning virtually I'm a blank slate lol) but willing to learn again
Unfortunately the job announcement I was referencing before closed a few weeks ago. They're just starting up the interview process this week.
