Hey guys, need some help here. Got a job working at Howard and going to grad school at Morgan in Baltimore. Coming from DC if I leave around lets say 4ish, how loong will it take for me to get to B-more. Somebody told me a hour and a half; please tell me that is an exaggeration.

Look on the bright side. Grad school is only a couple of years, right?

ok so it does take a hour in a half. OK guys 2 questions.

Question #1: At what time would I have to leave DC to have a decent commute to Baltimore before rush hour?

Question #2: If I did have to leave DC at around 3 or 4, would the MARC train be an easier alternative than driving?

Thanks for any responses, looks like Im over my head and just trying to make this work.

Then make it work. Sacrifices and adjustments are a part of life my friend. If you leave DC around 3 or 4 you'll be fine. 1.10 commute on the marc from union station to camden yards. If you drive and leave DC around 3 or 4 you'll be fine. Comming back is no problem. The rewards are much greater for you in the future if you make sacrifices now. gl in school...
