Hi,

I will be working at Boeing Everett sometime this summer and I wanted to get some ideas for where to live for someone who does not yet know how to drive. I was looking into places in Everett (since there's a bus that goes directly to Boeing plant in a reasonable amount of time), but after looking through some posts, it seems Everett might not be the best place for me to live alone.

I saw a site on Downtown Everett and it seems that there is a lot of recent development, but I'd prefer to hear some locals tell me what Everett is really like rather than a pretty website.

I also checked out some of the van pools that Boeing employees use, but I don't know what my schedule will be like and don't want to rely on someone to drive me around. What are some other options?

Thanks!

HI!

I will be relocating to Everett to work for Boeing too this summer. I m still in the hiring process and if everything goes ok I will start this June. Have you signed your contract yet or found any housing?

I've started looking at a few places but haven't decided on anything yet. I want to check out some of the places in person before making a final decision.

Hey stoken I'm in the situation as you. I got my job offer in June as well for Boeing.

"I also checked out some of the van pools that Boeing employees use, but I don't know what my schedule will be like and don't want to rely on someone to drive me around. What are some other options?"

At the quote, I read about them as well. From my understanding they're all around. If I'm able to live in Seattle and commute to Everett via that way that would be great vs the bus.
