All three utilities have offered fiber servicies for well over a decade now.

My daughter now lives in Seattle and after five years is still waiting for the same level of service she got in Wenatchee years ago.

Central Washington has always been ahead of the Puget Sound area in public service and particularly in consumer services. The only reason people THINK Seattle and area is high tech is because Microsoft and Amazon are located there.

Big business is interested in profit. The public ownership in central Washington is focused on providing services to the OWNERS (county residents).

It is a right-wing Republican thing.....you guys in Seattle wouldn't understand if you tried.

That is really my daughters problem. She moved to Capitol Hill and can no longer compete with the Ephrata farmers trading corn futures as her current internet connection is way to SLOW!!!

Where speed is important in business transactions.....setting up shop in a technology advanced area like central Washington will pay dividends.
