Looking to relocate in the near future.
What can you tell me about these towns:
Gig Harbor-
Roy-
Yelm-
Auburn-
Arlington-
Graham-
Orting-
Monroe-
Buckley-
Renton
Gold Bar-
Eunumclaw-
Port Orchard-
Anything, and I mean anything would be helpful.
Looking to retire to a community outside of Seattle, within an hour or so of the City (traffic not an issue, we wont be working)
We do not have children in school, so schools are not a big deal. Just dont want to live in the ghetto, if you know what I mean. We have horses, so definately need a couple acres, and there seem to be some decent homes in these towns.

Gig Harbor- Tacoma's upper middle class to wealthy suburb. Toll bridge.

Roy- rural, military. Few amenities.

Yelm- growing former rural area in town with amenities (Wal-Mart, Safeway, etc.), rural away from town. Congested, long commute to job centers of Tacoma/Puyallup and Olympia/Lacey

Auburn- Seattle burb. Working class in valley, middle class up on hill.

Arlington- far north suburb. Smaller town turned boomburg. Rural near by,

Graham- rural turned sprawl

Orting- will be destroyed by Mount Rainier someday

Monroe- rural hub town that is becoming middle class suburban

Buckley- where sprawl meets rural

Renton- A Seattle "huburb". Poor/working class to the west, upper middle class to the NE, middle class to the SE.

Gold Bar- rural, few jobs, hellish commute.

Eunumclaw- Buckley with more amenities

Port Orchard- working class through upper middle class depending on where you live.

Wealthy horse areas are east of Seattle. Good more affordable horse areas are around Olympia, Enumclaw-Buckley, between Port Orchard and Gig Harbor, Duvall, Monroe, and Arlington. More working class horse areas are around Yelm, Tenino, Gold Bar.
