Hi, I'm a manager of an apartment complex here in Gig Harbor, WA
I love this beautiful town. It has grown a lot lately. I think the US Open drew a lot of attention to it.
But at any rate, if anyone out there needs info about the quality of life, the area, etc. please ask away.

What square footage do your one and two bedrooms offer, and at what rental price, please?

Thank you.

I have a question. I'm a special ed teacher, but nearing retirement. BUT, I have two grandchildren, 8 and 10, one with special needs (he's in general ed but needs support). My husband is retired. We are looking for a larger new home: 4 or 5 bedrooms with some breathing space. We don't another home so close to us that we can hear what they are watching on TV. We need decent schools, we are living in Half Moon Bay and love it, but it's too expensive to get a bigger house like we need. My daughter needs a place where she can rent cheaply. She's a dental assistant. Is Gig Harbor a good choice for us? We have about 500-550k to spend.

Can look at Port Orchard area just north a bit to save some. Can find some homes on acreages in that price range, probably around 2500-3000 ft. I dont know on rental for 1br, it was very high for a 4br.
