It took some legal, creative activities on my part and other folk's money, but that mess has been cleaned up. That shack was burned and burned and burned to ashes. The county and state didn't care about its habited existence at all. Quite to the contrary of your experiences, it was a quite difficult and lengthy process to "Go Go Godzilla!"

Tiny houses are in demand in San Juan County. People who want to both live and work out here are regularly priced out of the market. Smaller places are needed for people to purchase or for owners of businesses to purchase and rent to their employees.

I'm actually looking into land in a couple places right now and Yakima is on my short list. I was planning on living in a tiny house or RV for the first year or two while I get acquainted with the area/land. I was leaning towards a tiny house that I could use as a guest house after I build a main cabin/house. What kind of price point/size are you thinking for your proposed tiny house?
