So pretty much 90% of the US has been infected so far.

But if you have a positive Covid test, you are infected with the virus. Her post said you have the disease not infection with the virus (which is basically the same thing) and I don't understand that.

I have not seen any evidence to support that.

Many people who are infected do not have symptoms. In order to have a diagnosis of COVID-19 you have to have symptoms.

If you would sort out which is which the public would be more informed instead of hiding away in fear.
Most people reported as Covid deaths died because of Covid. Many more have died post Covid because of the after effects of the disease. You always ignore the data you don’t want to know about. Yes, there are some who were reported as Covid deaths because they tested positive at the time of death. Over time, they are removed from the reporting as records are reviewed. And the numbers, as best I can tell, are 15-20% at the most, which still leaves hundreds of thousands of people dying BECAUSE of Covid.

Mask mandates on airplanes aren’t fun. But for a few hours? Not a big deal. They help reduce transmission, but it would make more sense if KN94/95 or N95 masks were required. Business travel, at least, benefits greatly from masking… it can cost tens of thousands if someone traveling for work catches Covid and that spreads through the workplace. Cascading effects.

Official positive cases are significantly undercounted especially since everyone has the home tests now. The CDC had estimated 146M people infected before Omicron and we all know what happened in the Omicron wave.

Got it. But if you have no symptoms, that means your immune system fights it off before the virus is able to spread, so that is a great thing. It does not mean you didn't have Covid. It just means, you had an asymptomatic/very mild case.

That is 100% false. Fauci and government propaganda.

No, that’s someone trying to explain the difference between a virus and a disease to you, and you aren’t quite getting it.

And we benefit greatly from having the CDC as well as state and local health services. They do the hard work to keep Americans alive, much appreciated efforts. Dr. Fauci has been working very hard for a long time now. I hope that President Biden awards him a national honor before the end of his term. Well deserved.

Decisions like that make people lose confidence in the government. Right now the hospitalizations are at a record low and yet they keep mandating masks in some places. Philadelphia with 2 deaths per day re-instated indoor mask mandates. Why? When decisions like this make no sense, more and more people start losing patience and eventually stop complying. What is the goal exactly because nobody knows? Before you know it, there will be more crazy and depressed young people and children than deaths from Covid if this madness keeps going a little longer and nobody cares about this and it keeps getting ignored. What is the goal Fauci and CDC? I don't think they know either.
