Leaving for Washington from Florida in the morning!!! Hubby is driving a 26ft Penski truck, pulling our son's 65 Mustang on a trailer. I will drive our Durango with son and dog "Rex". We are detouring to Houston first to say goodbye to our best buddies there and then on Sunday we head North. Hope to hit Everett by July 3rd. I have anticipated this move for many months and I hope (and pray) we have made the right decision. Here in Fl. the heat has always been a issue. It is very beautiful here, but you can't swim in the lakes (gators and snakes) and various other unfriendly entities that make prolonged outdoor stays a test of will. I miss camping but it's to hot here. (and the terrain is flat!) I'm not a flat lander............can't wait to go skiing this winter!!!! Anyway...we are excited,(can't you tell?)
