Just don't raise kids there. Take it from a survivor. In Klickitat County, the law basically emanates from Goldendale and if you aren't there, there isn't much of one.

When you coming to Portland, Stealth? I'll take you out again for the local specialty. In Kennewick, that was Mexican. In Beaverton, it's Indian. Like Vindaloo or dosas?

I can see why properties values remain high with Insitu there. I guess teachers, rank & file gov't., common retail employees etc. are out of luck.

With the Gorge market so tight, why are new construction properties remaining on the market so long?...here's an example: https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sal...79_rect/10_zm/

Is that place even built yet? (I haven't been by) It is a canned pic for a contractor who probably does spec homes and will build one for You Too!

As previously mentioned, If you are looking at stuff that is already listed, (especially on Zillow) you are much too late. Need to be proactive and dig up your own deals, or ....pay the price of admission.
