I would seriously look into Washington Veteran's Home in Port Orchard
Veterans Home

and Harrison Hospital in Bremerton
Find Jobs at Harrison Medical Center (http://www.harrisonhospital.org/employment/index.php - broken link)

I am looking to move to either Gig Harbor or Port Orchard. I'm trying to find an area that is teen/pre-teen friendly and has nearby things to do. Also what's the performance difference between school districts? Getting info on the net has bee limited. Thanks

i have lived in manette for 12 years. i love it here, 4 minutes drive ferry, and down town bremerton. manette is on it's own tiny peninsula. with beautiful water views as you drive around. you take the historic manette bridge to get to down town to take the ferry to seattle. (walk on ferry riders ride free to seattle from this side of the water. yes, i truly love it here, and the bremerton waterfront is going through a building boom in recent years, and is looking great! sadly, i have to move back east for family reasons. take a look at my little manette home-- mls 52521.
