Hello,

I've been reading all the posts and I must say that I'm impressed. Someone talked very highly of Yelm. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like on average most of the year? Also how rainy it is there compared to the rest of the state? Snowfall etc........ I would love to hear positive posts on towns that you all live in and love Thanks guys! ***By the way......I must admit that I can't live without a Walmart Supercenter nearby LOL***

Lightbulb Weather in various cities

I found a great Web site that provides the current and weather history for any city. It's removed. If you go to the bottom of the page you can click on weather history (or somthing like this) and you can get a table of all of the weather-related categories for that city. Larger cities have more data. I keep a printout of Rainier and Montesano (still haven't decided which one to retire in) near my desk to survive days like today when it's 106 .

Weather in Yelm, Well I have lived there for 25 Years and at first I thought it rained to much, but I have got use to it. Summers are Awesome not to hot, winter is a little diffrent, more rain than most states but everything is green, on very cold days when the sky is clear we have the most beautiful blue sky and Mt.Rainier looks like you can reach out and touch it. The snow fall is not to much but beautiful to see falling and cover the ground, it does not stay to long, that makes for enjoying the snow more. so there you have it, I came from Calif(to hot) not many changes in the weather. so I have become to love Yelm.
