Partly cloudy and 88F here at noon today, but we are about to get hotter. That English weather is starting to look appealing right about now.

61F with light rain at the moment after a high of 68F. Things are turning from bad to worse. July is resembling October more and more each day.

Oh, really? I just cycled back home from the underground station in a thunderstorm (which at 89mm/h was very nearly the heaviest we've had all year) and got completely drenched for the third day in a row Honestly, since they officially declared a drought about six weeks ago (don't think anywhere in the country will have any problems with that now) half the days have had rain, and it's started coming down pretty heavily again now so maybe another thunderstorm (and why not, we had two yesterday). Currently 60F after a high of 65 earlier.

Btw I love the graphic that forecast shows for Friday (and the description), as if the other days weren't hot at all

Clear and cold. Really feels like deep winter now, with frost not melting in some shaded spots, even though yesterday was 14C/57F.

It's amazing sometimes how quickly droughts can disappear. It has happened here too. Sorry to hear you got drenched, but I meant the weather you guys were having a couple of days ago. I think London was in the mid 70's and sunny. That sounds nice. I'm getting tired of sweating.
I had to laugh at that graphic as well. As if 98 isn't hot.
