Could you show us some pictures of it before it goes? Only I've never seen anything like that much snow in a garden in real life (and probably never will). Thanks!
There's a house near me that a pile taller than 4 feet (photos 6b.jpg). I went out for lunch and brought my camera with me and took a few more photos around town. Some don't have that much snow, it compacted a bit.
Ooh, good pictures, particularly the one by the church where the snow pile looks about nine feet high with that angle. I thought about doing some early spring shots here today but I reckoned it wouldn't have looked that good in the rain. That road in the third photo looks pretty treacherous (though I assume it's got to be a one-way street being that narrow). That house in the fourth photo looks more like a doll's house than anything around here, (and if you replace that BMW with a toy car it'll all fit to scale with the snowfalls we get)
Thanks for posting the pics, I don't have a digital camera! Our snow really compacted today, 40's, but there are still huge piles around, especially where they plow the lots. My front yard faces south and the snow is still a good 18" or more in my yard.
Currently 58 degrees F and fair. Tomorrow is expected to be 67F and partly cloudy. Rain is expected by Wednesday and is supposed to last through the weekend.
My heart goes out to all of you in the areas of the country experiencing all that record snowfall and cold. I realize spring can't come fast enough for you folks!
