Currently 95°F
Feels Like 107°F (again!)

Keep in mind that this is Minneapolis, MinneSNOWta! I hate this. I hate the heat with a passion that burns deep within my soul and has the red hot intensity of 2.000 burning suns. It's all kinds of wrong.

Wow it's miserable out there today. We had a similar day about a month ago and it was stifling hot. Hope it cools down soon.

Much better here:

Dewpoint 59 F

Two days in a row, too. Wanna hear something NUTS? I posted the 95*F temp just 15 minutes ago. Right now, it's CRAZY WINDY and the temperature just dropped 20 degrees! Huge storm clouds rolling in and a sever thunderstorm warning for the area. Go figure.

All that in a city with a January average of -11 C! I should spend a whole year in Minneapolis to experience that change, and above all, to experience winter... I just can't imagine how it feels when it's -20 C outside...

At 10 pm
Temperature 3.3 C (37.9 F)
RH 63%
Wind SE 5 km/h
Pressure: 1023.8 hPa
Clear Sky
Today we had clear skies (cloudless), but there was ash suspended at high altitudes in the air from the Chilean volcano Puyehue (located at more or less 1800 km South West of BA).

BTW, In La Plata (just 57 km from BA) it's 1.4 C (34.5 F) and they're playing the Copa America Tournament (soccer), Argentina vs Bolivia. You can see on TV the players on the field puffing out steam. It's really cold... I mean, this is the coldest we usually get every year here.

Currently 72 F in Minneapolis, so that's a huge improvement. Next several days don't look great though. Highs around 85 F. Expected to be the same here in New Jersey, but this is average summer weather. Can't wait until September!

I just couldn't believe how quickly the temperature dropped. The news reported 80-100 mph winds that took down trees and power lines, knocking out power. Thankfully, not in my area.

I had my A/C off for awhile but the wind died down and the humidity made it muggy again. It's 87% humidity right now.

Well, off to bed. Have to get up at 4am. Zzzz....
