17.3C and overcast at close to 11am. Back to reality for us, though it's at least a gentle reintroduction to our proper October weather with another mild night of 15.8C - milder than an average night even in midsummer. We might get to 20 with any afternoon brightness, which in a normal October would be around the highest temperature we'd get. Yesterday btw the national date record of 28.3C was equalled, which means five consecutive days went into the record books - pretty special!
I think it's going to be a cold day. The max temps have been falling 3 or 4C/8F short of the forecast for a few days, but the warmer nights are a good trade for the rain and grey, wet conditions. Last night was colder and it is still 6C/44F and grey at 9 am.
Sun has made an appearance this afternoon. First stretch of sunny weather to begin tomorrow for the first time in a while. Days will be warm and nights will be chilly.
